so anyone know the story with the Jags ?

From being dead certs to top their division and make the playoffs last year and then to lose the last three games and miss the playoffs altogether and then only win two games since.

Something must be going on.

If that happens to a team around my way, its London to a brick that someone has done something with someone they shouldn't have and the team has found out.

any ideas ?

I was hoping for some gossip, rumour, hearsay and innuendo to try and sift through to find the true reason.

But even the AI indicates it is a problem with the OC, perhaps there was trouble between the offense and the OC and Uncle Doug has backed his man, the OC, over the players and so "lost the locker room" as they say.

I'll see if i can find some tonight or tomorrow (gossip and rumor)
 
My views on downfall of Jaguars

  • loss of Ridley was bigger than they thought
  • injuries especially kirk
  • drops somedays the receiver just loose the ability to make basic catches
  • regression of Tlaw and Etienne
  • ill-discipline of defense with stupid penalties
  • poor oline play not helped by trading cam robinson to vikings
  • average drafting by baalke some baffling decision like walker over hutchinson
  • 1st place tough schedule last 4 weeks brutal lions, vikings, eagles, packers
  • rest of division got better
 
Press Taylor took over play calling and it's all gone downhill from there. IIRC Doug was given an ultimatum in Phili, sack Taylor or he would be replaced. He chose to be replaced and stand by his friend.

So pretty much Press Taylor has got him fired from two jobs.
