Jake for all his flaws does have a sense of the moment and tends to turn up in big games. Can’t really say the same for the Swans the last 2/3 Grand Finals

He is the exact thing Sydney need. McLean and Amartey is too much of the same thing. 1 of them needs to be replaced by a guy whose got a bit more X factor and can has more strings to his bow then kick it onto my head.

If Sydney dont sign Stringer, they aint being serious really .

Well he would replace one of those players.

Swap him for Amarty and that Sydney forward line looks alot more dynamic and loses nothing defensively.

Would the Swans risk their culture for a bloke with very questionable intent?

It’s a huge risk for a club that most considered the best in it just 24 hours ago.

Performance is much more important then personality as a footballer so that should be enough to get him in

Had a few moments in the 2016 finals but was invisible for most of it. He’s actually played in their EF losses in 2019 and 2021 since. You could say he embraced the big moment against us in 2021 by kicking their first and last goals. The last goal was in the second quarter, though.

Sydney need more players that are mentally tough (they have enough that arent) and Jake won't help with that at all.

Mental toughness is needed in that midfield. Up forward they need X factor and more goals
