So the Bombers wont offer him a proper contract but also will knock back offers that they get.

Its like Dodoro is still in control.
We offered him a contract that he's agreed to which goes into next year and there has been nothing to suggest we've knocked back any offer apart from a known troll (that's you, in case you were wondering) saying so.

I cannot stand Stringer, absolute flog, but he makes almost every teams 22. Probably all tbh

What team couldn't do with a 35+ goal a year player?

There must be serious skeletons in the closet for teams to be balking at under average wage best 22 players available on the cheap...

As one example, Geelong are after Martin who is never on the park and will cost more in salary than 400k

He’s a liability when the ball isn’t in his area. Whether it’s a physical inability or lack of understanding he just has to be carried in that area of the game which when you’re not a star it really limits your value to teams.

If he was strong overhead you’d fix it by making him your deepest forward that’s not really his go

28 tackles side F50 for an unfit guy isn’t half bad

Agree completely.

That’s included in the when the ball is in his area comment. It’s the more nuanced team defence stuff he struggles with.

I’m not a Stringer hater actually think his time when healthy at Essendon has been underrated and fairly consistent. He just has his clear downsides
