No doubt Hackdorn will turn this into a culture issue at Freo, not the same is said about the Swans though and their recent issues with Taylor.

I’m not implying that Freo have a culture issue but the Swans leadership group reported Taylor. The nerve of the kid to ask for Goodes’s number and pull that stunt you’ll be shaking your head as a Bloods supporter.

I bet you are the life of the party. We all do stupid thngs when we are young.... err maybe not you.
I reckon the aim at a party is the have fun/enjoy it not be the life of the party. Dont get me wrong let you hair down when you want but parties are for enjoyment not superficial reasons like claiming a mantle of life of the party.

OK - so you want to double down - fine I’ll bite.

Without going into too many details...at 20 years old, whilst off my nuts on LSD at a music festival, I thought it a good idea to do a bungee jump. Not something I’d recommend to anyone nor something I’m proud about. But at the end of the day the only person who was put at risk was myself.

Whilst only at arms length, I did see the impact that a drunk driver had on a mate of mine when we were 18 and his parents were both killed in an accident.

So do I condemn Carter for getting blind drunk - not at all - even if as a wannabe elite sportsman I’m not sure it’s the best course of action.

Do I condemn him for getting behind the wheel at 1am whilst drunk - yes.

Do I think someone on an Internet forum who is bragging about their past DUI is a complete **** - yes, yes I do.

My point is, just because he's on the dockers list he shouldn't be judged any different to any other 20 year old thats ****ed up. Ok he may never ever make it to the AFL but thats not the end of the world.

Aren't we all holier than thou.
Mate it's not holier than thou, it's just don't do the wrong thing. If you've got such a huge resistance to people being called out for drink driving then you might need to take a look in the mirror.

People young or old, will make bad decisions in the name of fun. But don't drag everyone down to your level if you're not yet ready to be a safe, functional, contributing member to society.
