Has featured in 11 of our 13 wins this year. Don't know if that's a gold pass or just coincidence, or whether he gets carried by the team.. But I'd say he adds something to the team and there's good reason for the coaches to bring him back in as soon as he was uninjured.

I'm starting to change my tune with Jasper.

I think with the ball in his hands, he's decent. He's very evasive, and good at running and breaking lines. However, he doesn't do it often enough (possibly because he's stuck in defense).

However, as a defender, he's piss poor. He's always too far behind his man, and seems to read the flight of the ball slower than most.

As a result, he should be played either as a loose man, or on the wing etc.

Pittard has played 29 games since being recruited. Let him get a good pre-season in and play a full season and he will show what Hocking saw in him as a junior.

It's hard to believe that's all he has played.

A huge mark from the young lad in the last 1/4 Saturday, so good to see.

He's only played 7 more games than Ollie Wines.

there should be no more doubters after that game. Pittard stood up on the big stage and showed he is a gun.

That is the reason that playing finals is just so important. Some around here were being really harsh on the young lad albeit some of his performances were riddled with errors but, this young fella is an immensely talented footballer and it's finals footy that makes these lads come on.

The importance of playing finals footy should never be underestimated.

He has been reminding me of a Pearce type player. Gets caught out defending, but looking strong with the ball and able to run, break lines and mostly find a target.

If he can keep his body right he will continue to develop into an awesome player! Like a few other people said I would like to see some more 2nd and third efforts though.

We shouldn't be too hard on Jasper Pittard, and at this stage trust that he will continue to improve as he plays more games (and hopefully he does not have the injuries that have plagued his career so far).

The coaches clearly think he is an excellent prospect, given he came straight back into the team after several weeks out injured earlier this season.

When we gets the ball, takes off and goes for a run, and then kicks long, we look dangerous. We don't have many players who do that as well as he does currently.
