I'm still amazed at how we were able to get him for pretty much Stephen Gilham. Looks a real player in the making, good stength and speed, is hard at the ball, good foot skills and an excellent goal sense as we have seen at box hill and now an excellent pack make on firiday night.

I have renamed him to Luke Hodge Jr.

That's what it looks like, one handball in traffic from the first Sydney game had a young Hodge written all over it. Everyone comparing him to Cyril has it wrong to be honest, very different players.
It's a luxury to be able to have that argument mind. He's the highest quality young mid we've had in years, and mercifully he's not alone.

With all the Jed love going on - and it is really well deserved - I've noticed in the last two games that there is always one player geeing him up & getting to him after he does something well.

I know Ando isn't in the pic, but Burgoyne, like you said, is worth far more than just his on-field contribution.
