Toughen up princessHow does outlawing homophobic slurs really affect our “great game” lmao
Would you say it’s time to set an example?
All crime has a motive.... It's only relevant to prove their guilt to the actual crime, this renders the term "hate crime" meaningless.????
Of course there is, it’s a crime with specific motive based on prejudice. A subset of crime, if you will.
It's not meaningless, it's just referring to the cause - and if you can isolate the cause, it gives you a way to actually identify trends. All crime has a motive.... It's only relevant to prove their guilt to the actual crime, this renders the term "hate crime" meaningless.

Yep, definitely no filter - You go ahead an butt in and interrupt then - we could use a floor show around here. It’s an internet forum. No invitation is required to participate. If anyone wants to have a private discussion, there is a function for that.
Port Adelaide chairman David Koch does not expect Jeremy Finlayson to be suspended despite the horrific nature of his homophobic slur given the precedent set by Alastair Clarkson’s recent punishment for a similar offence.
Finlayson has apologised after admitting his abuse to an Essendon opponent in the third quarter of the Power’s victory on Friday night.
The league’s integrity team is investigating and is likely to talk to the Essendon player as well as Finlayson before coming up with a punishment.

Just another boomer who’s offended about other people being offendedHow does outlawing homophobic slurs really affect our “great game” lmao
Bullshit. Lever the chip off your shoulder. Glenelg have a long history of sooking. Take that to court. Oh and what wing nut Walker said was far worse. The racist.Walker got 6 weeks, why shouldn't Finlayson.
Of course Kochie wouldn't expect a Power player to be susended for anything. Port have a long tradition of bending the rules to their advantage.
So you know what was said by both people do you? Just more Port break the rules then try to weaasel out of the consequences.Bullshit. Lever the chip off your shoulder. Glenelg have a long history of sooking. Take that to court. Oh and what wing nut Walker said was far worse. The racist.
No, it's assault. A crime is a crime. No such thing as a "hate" crime.
