This will be as hard, or even harder on him than it will be on her. While she has the battle in front of her to focus on, he will be in the heartbreaking position of watching and trying to support from the sidelines.

Starting to really like Finlayson . . He plays with emotion and has value all over the field , he could well develop into the quintessential forward/second ruck

An unbelievably sad situation, I had been under the impression Kellie's health situation was at least stable, and the pics taken of the 3 of them at the Norwood oval with GWS players only a week or so ago showing a happy young family seemed to bare that out, but alas that is not the case.

In canse anyone was not aware. Kelly was not diagnosed with colorectal cancer until well after the trade and had been living here for several months.
She had symptoms which were though to be pregnancy related while in NSW which did not completely resolve once the baby was born. This was the impetus behind Jeremy asking for a trade to SA as Kelly is originally from Port Lincoln and her mother in particular lives in Adelaide.
Jeremy took the last month off of the 2021 regular season to be with Kelly during her pregnancy and there were a couple of forwards who had gained favor over him including Himmelberg and Riccardi.
Whatever the case he is doing alright by us, under incredibly difficult circumstances and he might become even more valuable depending on what Georgiades assessment turns out to be.
