Don’t mind North finally up and about after becoming competitive for a 3-4 week period.

Took that many handouts, priority picks and the AFL personally paying and appointing an elite coach to finally win a couple of games and avoid being re-located to Tasmania like most of the league wanted.

Will be appalling if North don’t win a flag in the next half a decade with this many top 10 picks and assistance granted.

Handouts? such as priority pick handouts like pick 2 with jack trengrove right?.

All criticisms of port’s performance under Ken are fair. But do you accept that all things being equal, it’s a much worse experience to follow North?

We won our games when we were good, you didn't, and that's the bottom line.

Newflash - other clubs approach good players because they want talent in their team and it's not always wise to keep them if you're going to be well compensated. Much like happened with norths only good former player, JHF.

Hmm, all this thread has ever been is North fans thinly veiling their displeasure at JHF leaving by talking up fringe player re-signing, which is a completely different topic.

It's sad but when their team hasn't improved this year, despite the injection of talent they had last year, then like flies to shit they're going to flock back to this thread to hang shit on a bloke who probably forgot he even played for them.

I don't visit this thread much, it's taken a turn for the worst. Jason is a great footballer anyone half sane would know that.

The angst was of course our hand was forced and the perception is we took 'unders' But again had no real choice. We had to use another pick 1 & JHF for what became picks 3,4 & 20. Not flash at all.
