It's because of the FA. Possessions weren't clangersBlindly looking at the stats, he had 9 possessions, and 7 clangers. Does that make every time he didn't goal a clanger? Or were there non-possession clangers such as frees against?

Dude, he's still a young man maturing. If it highlights anything is Ports lack of leadership to handle those situations. I love the guy and I expect him to grow through this and the club to make adjustments to nurture him going forward. Im expecting a massive game from him this weekend even with the attention Tiges will give himHis true character is on display. People look at stats for players just as the world look at IQ to just one's intelligence.
There is no stats for adversity quotient and unfortunately, young hornes has very low AQ value.
If you compare him with the very best of past years like Judd, Carey, Buckley etc, world of difference.
A truly great player is not defined by how he goes at the height but when the team is at the bottom.
Perhaps, just perhaps, hornes will be a great player at later stages of his life when port has fallen to the bottom as they are an aging team on the decline right now.
Just perhaps, he will reach his actual potential to be this balwark holding the team together as they rebuild and by the end of his career, he led port through a difficult time. His greatness perhaps may be defined as a prodigy entering a fading team but through difficulty standing up for the team and leading it into a new era for future champions to take over.
JHF will easily out poll Reid, Daicos and the Bont combined AND still win by 30 votes.
Nice try Chad but we see through you.
Who'd swap him for Sheezel,
no campaigner is who
Nah we didn't have the number 1 pick, Sheezel went pick 3, it was your efforts that brought him to us.And please explain again what he has to do with Sheezel?
You had the number 1 pick. You were taking Sheezel regardless of anything else.

And fyi Jason fabian horne Francis isn't good enough to carry Harry's bag to the ground
If I have to…If Port fans bump this thread after he plays well, and North fans bump this thread when he plays shit, whose responsibility is it to bump the thread when he's just mediocre like he was this weekend?
I nominate Freo fans as a neutral third party.
Freomaniac you up for the task?
Well you did have the number 1 pick but you clearly had no interest in Cadman as were happy to trade it away knowing gws wanted him. Ashcroft was never available to you so Sheezel was your priority and would have taken him at 1 anyway if you kept it.
Spin it how you want. JHF has nothing to do with Sheezel and he’d be at north regardless.
Wardlaw is already a great? he has hit a wall recently too. 19 disposals and 5 direct turnovers last week. Was at 12 disposals till 3 quarter time and was going at around 40%, the 7 disposals came when the game as already over. Was pretty darn average the week before too. Sheezel got nothing to do with JHF no matter how you spin it.Cadman was never good enough for pick 1.
Hornes plus cadman got us sheezal wardlaw plus future first otherwise another trade down would need to be made.
Spin it how you want, hornes trade indirectly got us one of the greatest pair of players in afl history.
Carey longmire is probably the last time we got a pair like this.

Have you seen Logan Evans at Port Adelaide? only played 3 or 4 games and has been a standout every match. Yes different position but gee, he has been awesome. Harley Reid has been better, Daicos and JHF has been better last year too. Remember JHF was tagged in many games last year. But yeah lets just go by the stats only. Has Wardlaw been tagged? nope, even in your dud midfield. FFS.Name one better at his age...on your list that is
