Well, I agree PSD not a realistic option. Although #37 is bringing it up multiple times a day. Hypothetically IMHO Gold Coast would surely swoop, you always take good players. But let us not waste further brainpower on such a scenario (as we agree PSD is not going to happen)

Surely not. They need all their money to keep their current KPFs there. They know SA clubs are coming for Luko and Vic clubs for King. If anyone did it, it wouldn't be Gold Coast.

I'm not sure that the Papley deal is contingent on the Daniher one being agreed upon. I think it will get done regardless, particularly if it's true that Melbourne have also made a last minute bid for him.

I think the hold up to date has been Carlton wanting something back. That's just me speculating, but other than media speculation, there's no reason to believe the two deals are linked at all.
