He does mention him, I can’t recall his support or not though. I don’t hear his political ones that much anyway, well unless he talks politics with fighters which does happen a bit.
If he does support DeSantis, does that change your view of him at all?

Hypothetically, if he has frequently praised DeSantis, would your opinion of Rogan change at all? Or would you still consider him a 'lefty' or a 'centrist', regardless of this?

Joseph James Rogan (born August 11, 1967) is an American podcaster, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) colour commentator, comedian, actor, and former television presenter. He hosts The Joe Rogan Experience, a podcast in which he discusses current events, comedy, politics, philosophy, science, and hobbies with a variety of guests.

Rogan: "I moved out to Texas for... more freedom."

Or, a tax regime that favours rich people after California started to raise taxes on the rich.

He's not an evil human, but he lies.

How's Texas on legal weed?

California has 13.3% marginal state income tax (and rising), Texas has 0%. But the reasons why multimillionaires are leaving California and average Joes are doing likewise are not always the same. The main reasons cited are usually cost of living (including state taxes) and various criticism of govt policy/politics (too left leaning, too much red tape etc.).

Your favourite two celebrities aren't average Joes. I don't know how much money Ben Shapiro has but he's a conservative commentator. If California is moving further to "the left" then it's not surprising he would jump on a red flight out. Rogan being the right winger that you keep saying he is would be at home in Texas, no? I'd rather live in Austin than LA and I'm not rich.

I don’t know what he is to be honest, he was against vaccine mandates but wants universal basic income. He’s all over the place.

IIRC he's retracted his support of universal basic income after the US governments COVID stimulus payments. Since the Texas move he's seemed to start codifying his beliefs more which has made him a lot more boring to listen to.

There was a clip of him rejecting UBI because his friend couldn't get people to work at their cafe while Covid was running rampant over there.

De Santis is a tin pot dictator, disagree with him and he'll turn the state on you. Don't be mistaking him for a good guy.

I know nothing about Desantis to be honest, pretty sure I didn’t paint him as a “goodie” or a “baddie”
You didn't but if you don’t know anything about him you should read up on him, he's bad news.

A lot of people who defend Rogan, and insist he's a centrist. And say 'lefties' are crazy, because they call him right wing etc... never seem to know about the right wing stuff.

And always seem to want to avoid it.

And a lot from the left seem to want to "pin" the right wing stuff on him, it's weird. I think this is why most would say he's more right than left, because he doesn't agree with ALL of the left ideologies and leftists don't seem to accept him.

It wasn't directed at you.

But why are you defending him, while also saying you're unaware of his more... negative... aspects?

It's like... you know you can't defend certain points, so you pretend you don't know about them.
But also know about them enough to know the talking points against detractors.

Firstly it should be noted: don't listen to Rogan on politics. Or listen but don't necessarily follow him.

Ok just did a quick google search, Joe Rogan and Ron De Santis seem to support each other, Rogan said he's the best governor in the country, ok, De Santis supported him over the "n word" vid.

De Santis is conservative, opposes critical race theory and other things the Democrat side support. So anyone who supports him is racist and bad? Am I getting this right?

What points can't I defend? Anything more specific De Santis has done wrong?

You support the opposition to CRT?

Why?

Don't say gay law and withdrawing state funding from corporations that speaks out for gun control, as well as the typical right wing obsession with stopping women from accessing healthcare. Dutton is a dirty lefty compared to this guy.

De Santis is a RWNJ - total hatey shit.

Typical "freedom freedom freedom" guy until it comes to women and their bodies.
