Coach Josh Carr - Midfield Coach

Obviously I'd love for Josh to be the coach next year, but I'll almost take anything at this point. A succession plan is super weird though. A succession plan usually implies a plan to smooth a transition plan from one successful occupant to another. The reason a lot of use want to see the back of Hinkley isn't because he's been outright terrible, he just hasn't been able to deliver ultimate success and the one ingredient that hasn't changed is the head coach (and the coaching philosophy). I don't want Josh Carr learning all the ways of Ken. He hasn't proven to be a grand master, so excuse me if I don't exactly respect his dojo.

I actually don't want anyone who has been tainted by this pox of a culture in any way shape or form. I know it's not feasible, but i'd prefer they all get cut down to a man with a fresh team top to bottom..

I would make an exception for JHF.
I was probably more meaning the off field staff.

The players you can easily single out the biggest simps and **** them off. Dixon an easy target, Jonas, Wines, Boak.

The players are fine. They aren't the issue and with a new coach they'll forget about Hinkley like Drew Barrymore in 50 First Dates. Even the likes of Dixon. It's their job to buy in to what the club are doing and try their best with it, they're just trying to be positive and supportive of their coaches and colleagues.

Good to have him back.

Acceptance of sticking around under Hinkley makes it clear he is not suitable to be senior coach. A coach with actual ambition would be knifing the fat campaigner to take control of a team containing Rozee, Butters and JHF.

Could it be wishful thinking that perhaps they're planning an undercut and Josh Vehicle comes out on top...
That or I'll switch to F1 after the announcement

Maybe Josh Carr only 'pulled out' of the Richmond job because they told him they don't want him for being such a pissweak cuck.

If i was Carr, id be on the phone to Richmond again tomorrow.

If he came here with a view of being the senior coach, why should he have to waste the next 2 years of his career sitting behind Hinkley on probably 1/3 of the money he'd get at Richmond.
Why?
He moved to Port because his Adelaide born wife wanted to come home.
No one with four young kids would consider living in three different States in the same year.
