I hate to say it as well, there are way too many factors here for me to see him at GWS. I think theyre right for key defenders, for one.

I reckon it's the opposite. Taz automatically becomes their best defender and by a long way.

How are they right for KPD?

Don't take this the wrong way, as I'm sure you're a good guy and mean well, but if you were Norths list manager, the club would be completely destroyed in 3 years. You need to study up a lot more on this stuff, in particular club culture and player dynamics.

I love Taz and he is the best defender weve had for quite some time imo, but how many more elite seasons does he have left? Is he open to a trade up north if he can renegotiate a new contract for a shit load more? Whats his current contract situation? 4 x 450k with 2 years remaining? Sometimes things align for club and player, just like the Scwatta/Shagger trade. Is he a chance to sign for market value and make big $$$. Just throwing it out there...

Club culture and player dynamics are being eroded with every year that passes whilst free agency is available, and it aint going anywhere. People need to start thinking a little differently moving forward because its quite obvious that players are starting to. I give loyalty and culture another 5-10 years, then it will be all about money as it is in every other professional sport once big money is available in abundance.

One thing the Floggy supporters are not taking into account is
1) sounds like the relationship between Stinger and Club is irreparable. Therefore, you can't just decide to keep him on your list as it will affect the club and other players further..
2) they will consider where Stringer wants to go.

The Floggies may just have to accept the situation and cut their loses here.

I was actually going to post my version of the logo they could of went with (well when I would put it together)...similar to the cash cowboys one with the blue and white stripes behind the kangaroo. Looks a lot better with the stripes behind. I still like their logo but I felt it lacked authenticity without the stripes.

I love taz but any list manager would do that in a heartbeat. As you said above it's the shagga deal all over again. GWS would righfully ask for more too. The reality is we have Nielson, Durds, Thompson (another year) and now McKay to play in the spot. Their time is now. Nielson and durds will be 22 next year. Time to up their job description. Elite mids are more of a priority than KPD's at the moment.
