Don't understand how all of a sudden, the minor premier's home strip priority goes out the window because it's not a Victorian club.

That was just Eddie McGuire rules lawyering after he lost a coin toss fair and square.

That's the issue though. 'Dictate.' I wouldn't be taking initial choice off the clubs.

Home clubs wear their home strip. If there is an issue with what the away club is wearing, that's when the AFL step in. This very thing happened in Tottenham v Arsenal last week - two clubs that have always worn their home strips in games against each other. Arsenal intended to wear their home strip at Tottenham Stadium, but have more white in their shirt for 2025, so the EPL and referees committee ruled they had to wear a contrasting alternate strip. Decisive action when it was required.

Yeh I have no issue with that personally.

I’m on record for saying if you’re the away team you shouldn’t EVER be in home kit cause I like the simplicity of that.

In any event we could still have clubs nominate and the afl decide (or dictate) if they didn’t **** it up so often
