Just a simple inverse of the Blue and Red with the numbers switched to blue and the trim staying as is.

The Red is probably a bit on the dark side to work with the navy numbers, what about if you went for a 70's style royal blue?

I was just trying to differentiate it as much as possible from Essendon but white is probably the go or maybe add an outline to make the numbers pop.

I prefer the red myself seems just that little bit more balanced which is funny as they're all the same proportions.

LOL didn't everyone in that photo take a hint from the sponsor? At least Lynch, Lyon and Roos did.

You'd rarely get to wear the blue shorts though, couldn't wear them vs bulldogs or north at the very least.

Plus this is just me but I think the contrasting coloured shorts really only work on a white based jumper not a stronger colour like red.
