Workshop Jumper Ideas for 2025

I will never understand why Collingwood reversed their colours. This with black shorts would be perfect.

If you look at the jumper when they reversed the colors it became a big adidas logo this why the deal was so lucrative.

Like Geelong they would have to wear white shorts most of the time because black has the same issues as Navy Blue which apparently Royal blue doesn’t have

Brisbane Lions concept based on the cover of Vulture Street by Powderfinger. I have shared this idea in the past but I made it a while before I started doing the more realistic jumper swap type thing. Going to post this on Instagram after I've added some final touches (and once I can figure out if Caltex will be on the jumpers next year) but I figured it'd be appreciated even more here. What do we think?

Note the original album also has a smidge of blue, and the 20th anniversary has a green for an alternate colourway

Look closer at the eye of the lion and the club logo on the shorts. Very subtle but definitely there. Might make it a bit bigger on the lion though so it’s a bit more obvious.
I did see the anniversary cover and I reckon that would’ve been perfect for the jumper if it was coinciding with that. For a general one off jumper though I reckon the original cover is more iconic and recognisable so it works a bit better for this, but would’ve been a great idea for 2023.

I think you're missing the point of the 'retro' aspect.

Perhaps, but it's a horrible jumper. Should never see the light of day again.
Most teams go back to a jumper of positive historical significance.
The 1998 effort has nothing good going for it. Looks shit, and belongs at Princes Park.
