Initially, it was indicated that the ‘new’ team would wear an adaptation of the old Fitzroy pre-season jumper for “away” games, and a modified Brisbane jumper in Fitzroy colours for “home” games. This deal had been struck with representatives of Fitzroy but was scrapped in the interests of having one jumper, only, for the “new” club.

It was also discussed whether Fitzroy FFC be redesigned with BFC but it never went any further.
They tried the no outline on all of the 2006 variants - but ran with the white outline.

Why was it denied by the AFL?Some lucky bastard got his hands on this jumper, I wasn't even allowed to take a photo of it.
This was the jumper I was talking about on this board in 2014 when I said the club wanted a Bears clash jumper in 2015 but got denied by the AFL and that they thought names on the back of jumpers was a certainty.
