Thought he carried himself quite well tonight, especially appearing after a tough loss.

He's not the most polished media performer but that's hardly a decent gauge of his coaching abilities.

That was good, the best that I,'ve seen him.
It's normally a bit of a cringe fest but he looked and acted really comfortably. Thoughtful and concise with a touch of humour with Longmire at the end.
Normally I switch off half way thru his pressers but well done to Justin.
The media training by Belly is working. :p

Clarkson is now available, surely we ask the question?
Here we go again 🙄
To save 50 pages on this , no way Clarko slips through the net while we wait a year or 2 to see how JLo turns out . Right now I think everyone is thinking JLo is tracking right where he should be ( players letting him down a bit more than his coaching) so there would be no need to be looking for another coach .
Not to mention the instability message it sends rolling over 3 coaches in 3 years .
If he was to come in a mentor type role then bring him in but if he wants to stay as head coach it would be Carlton, Gold Coast , Collingwood first .

Well Clarko has a year to run on his contract and so does JL, so it lines up perfectly tbh

Rosich and Harris made the call on Ross and it nearly brought us a premiership, time to see if Alcock and Bell can make the same call.

Clarko bringing Fremantle a premiership would cement him as the greatest coach of all time, 4 time premiership coach then comes to Fremantle and does what many think is impossible.

#Clarkotofreo

Hahaha wishful thinking! I suggest there are 3 options Carlton, Collingwood or I think most likely the AFL parachuting in Clarko on big money to GC in 12 months time to sort them out and lead them to some sort of success (if not a premiership) as a lasting legacy to the AFL.

He's done his apprenticeship out of Melbourne, at Port, so I can't see him coming to Freo.
Can't see him going to the Toast either.
Gold Coast, he'd want $2 mill a year I reckon.
Most likely a big Melbourne Club

I think the allure of being known the undisputed greatest coach of all time by taking us to a premiership would be on his radar.

There's already a team built for him too, it's a better prospect than the majority of clubs out there atm

I personally think, bringing footy smart Sam Mitchell as assistant midfield coach was the major factor in eagles premiership. Did Simpson's relationship with Sam Mitchell during his time as assistant there ,helped to bring him? If so, can Justin bring someone with footy smart from Collingwood just before they retire ?

Chris Mayne is putting his hand up, but I think we should look in our own back yard with David Mundy.

I see Clarko going to GCS. That would be one hell of a feather in the cap. And the AFL would work out some way of paying him a squillion dollars to do so.
