I dont think people have quite grasped the idea that there are absolutley no guard rails this time. Nor that Trumps supporters are literally cultlike. If he sends Tanks into major US cities his supporters will cheer.

That's not to say he WILL use the military to deport immigrants (and citizens), nor use the military to suppress opposition. But if he wants to, he will. Because there is no one left to stop him.

While I agree about the 'law' we know trump doesn't GAF about them and will just sign off an executive order to do what he wants.................

I'm not an expert in this or even a novice, but the concern among most on here, and in the real world, seems to be that trump will just snub the law and do what he wants anyway.

If this is the case, I am hoping for states and high ups in the military and police forces to stage a sensible rebellion and snub trump. Basically tell him to 'phuq off we're not doin it'
