Obama insinuated that Trump had a small penis, that is super cool, and I endorse this message, the majority of folks that support Trump are compensating!
Having to rely on brothels, through much of his life, Trump has always felt a bit inadequate in that regard. Poor technique, and zero imagination.

Unsurprisingly but disappointingly, the foreign policy section of the DNC platform has some absolutely awful stuff in it.

Much of the focus will understandably be on its tepid position on Gaza and not breaking from Biden there.

But when it gets to Iran, things get really hawkish and demonic.

President Biden has postured U.S. military forces in the region and authorized precision airstrikes on key Iranian-linked targets tied to attacks against U.S. troops to deter further aggression by Iran. President Biden has also continued to protect the American people from terrorism, authorizing military strikes that took out ISIS emirs and the leader of Al Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri.

In response to brazen attacks by Iranian-linked Houthi forces against international commercial shipping, U.S. naval vessels in the Red Sea, and Israel, President Biden ordered military strikes, alongside key allies, against Houthi targets and organized Operation Prosperity Guardian, a coalition of more than 20 nations committed to defending international shipping and deterring Houthi attacks.

When Iran launched more than 300 missiles and drones against Israel in April 2024, President Biden led an unprecedented defensive coalition – together with partners from Europe and across the Middle East – to defeat the attack, protect Israel, and stop the spread of a wider war. Through direct defensive action by the U.S. military and its partners, Iranian munitions did not cause significant damage, demonstrating both America’s ironclad commitment to the security of Israel and our unrivaled ability to leverage growing regional integration among U.S. partners to counter Iranian aggression.

All of this stands in sharp contrast to Trump's fecklessness and weakness in the face of Iranian aggression during his presidency. In 2018, when Iranian-backed militias repeatedly attacked the U.S. consulate in Basra, Iraq Trump’s only response was to close our diplomatic facility. In June 2019, when Iran shot down a U.S. surveillance aircraft operating in international airspace above the Straits of Hormuz, Trump responded by tweet and then abruptly called off any actual retaliation, causing confusion and concern among his own national security team. In September 2019, when Iranian-backed groups threatened global energy markets by attacking Saudi oil infrastructure, Trump failed to respond against Iran or its proxies. In January 2020, when Iran, for the first and only time in its history, directly launched ballistic missiles against U.S. troops in western Iraq, Trump mocked the resulting Traumatic Brain Injuries suffered by dozens of American service members as mere “headaches” – and again, took no action.

Trump of course deserves significant criticism for his time in office, but failing to go to war with Iran is not one of them (in fact, assassinating Soleimani does, conveniently left off this and presumably would only be mentioned as a glowing achievement if Biden had done it).

There's next to no votes in foreign policy. The Democrats don't need to be warmongers as some compromise in order to be elected. They just are.

I don't think there is any other country in the world that would be discussing a 77yo mans sex life.

Bit of a reality check, thank you.

Democrats believe a strong, secure, and democratic Israel is vital to the interests of the United States. Our commitment to Israel’s security, its qualitative military edge, its right to defend itself, and the 2016 Memorandum of Understanding is ironclad.

Democrats recognize the worth of every Israeli and every Palestinian. That’s why we will work to help bring to an end a conflict that has brought so much pain to so many. We support a negotiated two-state solution that ensures Israel’s future as a Jewish and democratic state with recognized borders and upholds the right of Palestinians to live in freedom and security in a viable state of their own.

Democrats oppose any unilateral steps by either side—including annexation—that undermine prospects for two states. Democrats will continue to stand against incitement and terror. We oppose settlement expansion. We believe that while Jerusalem is a matter for final status negotiations, it should remain the capital of Israel, an undivided city accessible to people of all faiths. Democrats will restore U.S.-Palestinian diplomatic ties and critical assistance to the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza, consistent with U.S. law. We oppose any effort to unfairly single out and delegitimize Israel, including at the United Nations or through the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Movement, while protecting the Constitutional right of our citizens to free speech.

Yeah real harsh on people in Gaza - the 1st paragraph is etched in stone and no bleating will change it. The 2 state solution is the real key

Does it?

Democrats will call off the Trump Administration’s race to war with Iran and prioritize nuclear diplomacy, de-escalation, and regional dialogue.

Democrats believe the United States should not impose regime change on other countries and reject that as the goal of U.S. policy toward Iran. We believe the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) remains the best means to verifiably cut off all of Iran’s pathways to a nuclear bomb. The Trump Administration’s unilateral withdrawal from the JCPOA isolated us from our allies and opened the door for Iran to resume its march toward a nuclear weapons capacity that the JCPOA had stopped. That’s why returning to mutual compliance with the agreement is so urgent. The nuclear deal was always meant to be the beginning, not the end, of our diplomacy with Iran. Democrats support a comprehensive diplomatic effort to extend constraints on Iran’s nuclear program and address Iran’s other threatening activities, including its regional aggression, ballistic missile program, and domestic repression.

That’s the 2020 platform - it’s an easy error as it’s what it appears on the HTML website when you google their platform so the confusion is understandable, but their 2024 platform is the PDF I linked in my post. But hence the mentions to the Trump Administration etc.

But thanks, because it starkly highlights how the party has shifted in four years from when the left made significant gains then to when they’re more docile or on the defence now - that it went from criticising Trump’s “race to war with Iran” to now saying he was too soft.

There’s a few other comparisons (on policy with Saudi Arabia and militarism generally) that this article goes into, if you wanted to take a look.

It's all related - goes to her gross incompetence and all-round cluelessness.

Republicans are positively quaking in their boots now that Kommie-la is officially putting an end to price "gauging" :laughv1:

It'll be like stealing candy from a woke baby (or maybe a bag of Doritos).
Curious to know what policy positions you think makes Kamala a communist.

Do you even know what that word means?

Don't think they want to be the World's police anymore which is just as good for us.
