I reckon if Kamala announced, a week before election day, a positive policy position (like a shift in tax policy) or even something very uncontroversial like a defence or infrastructure bill, she'll give people an excuse to vote for her more than "at least it's not Trump".

Maybe it's just what we see over here, but I think the Harris message needs a bit more positivity about how they will improve the country.

It might also help in Congress because she's almost certainly going to lose the Senate and face a totally hostile House/Senate and probably get nothing done anyway.
