Biden has been a steady as she goes type President.

He inherited an economic shit show from Trump and quietly went about repairing the damage rather than shouting "look at me" from the rooftops about every little win he's had along the way - now the US economy is in good shape, inflation trending down now, employment up, bullish stock market.

Wage growth is stagnant though and cost of living has gone up - but that's more a post-Covid global phenomena rather than a failing US economy.

Unfortunately these things are lost on so much of the (US) population.
