After reading some of the posts in here, it seems WC would be foolish not to give him a go. He is bit of an unkown to me so its nice to see he has the fans wishing him well with any outcome.

I now think it would be a great idea to give him a go, and hope he gets another shot at the big time....... then dominates when he plays the Blues! :p

Kind regards.

His biggest issue seems to be a lack of confidence, which is only exacerbated by bronx cheers etc when he's playing VFL. A change of scenery is probably the best thing for him.

Interesting. If he is copping it in the VFL that would knock the wind out of his sails.
Still, I'm sure he would cop that sort of thing in the WAFL unfortunately.

"From the review at Carlton I was kind of under the expectation that I would stay at Carlton," Lucas said.

"I think they were telling a few guys at Carlton the same thing - Brock McLean and Mitch Robinson - that we were kind of required.

"But we were doing the numbers and it didn't quite add up that enough players were going to make the list. So once that happened we were starting to talk and it was kind of adamant that a few of us wouldn't make the list.

"Once you get told you're a required player for the next season and then all of a sudden you get the chop, it's surprising. But there wasn't much I could do. The season was over.
What a sook. Yeah, I get it, it is disappointing to leave such an awesome club, but pretty unprofessional of him to air out his dirty laundry in the public like that. Go Bluebaggers!!:p:D
