I think this whole Paramount thing is just an excuse for an AFL paid junket on the tax payer (is it correct that no tax is paid by the AFL?).

That and to force foxtel to pay more. If foxtel lost AFL they would lose so many subscribers that there whole business model could be screwed.

To Paramount, a major global entertainment corporation, it's a minor sport of interest to only one country, and the money is chicken feed compared to other major sports with a global footprint. Once they've signed the deal, and AFL fans have nowhere else to go for streaming live games, there's no major incentive to improve.

With most complaints its likely that the issue is with their internet connection

Never have issues with Kayo but I've got a solid internet connection, use it on all different devices

Camera angles has nothing to do with Kayo, that's a Fox Footy problem.

so i was a customer, cancelled this season cos I lost interest (and more importantly, found their streaming service getting worse)

Now just got a txt wanting me to come back for $5/mth for 3 months on the Basic subs, might come back and check out the quality of service.

Happened last week and again this week.

When chromecast from Android phone, Kayo crashes at the top of ad breaks (screen pauses, never ending circle).

Have to stop casting, close the game in the app then start all over again.

Kayo is crap - pure and simple.

yes post #1732, they keep reminding me of the offer on me phone...deadline for sign up is 1 July I think.

Last few weeks I could watch the Tiges on FTA...next coupla weeks they're on Fox so think i'll reactivate my account for $5 and check out their level of service.

(they said it's for 'returning' customers.....OH PLEASE come back to us.......so don't know about deals for newcomers)

Regular occurence - Kayo android app (chromecast to TV) crashes during a commercial break.

It doesn't always happen so there's some manual coding stuff-up from the incompetent Kayo tech shmucks.

Seems responsive, I can randomly click on the timeline and it goes there pretty quick...not 'instantly' like in the old days but much better than when i decided enough was enough to cancel my account.

for 5 bucks...totally worth it...good for 3 mths now.

There may be but not that I know of & is part of the reason why I use Kodi to watch Kayo as it has a far superior interface. Most smart tv's, pc & xbox support it. Happy to post instal links if that helps.
