I see that Rushy have added a great trio from Katandra in Sean Gledhill, Ryan Charters and Graham Clarke. They will go alright, and be a massive loss for the Kats.
At Murchison, we have added some more depth to our list and are looking forward to see how it comes together in our first practice match against Katunga on Saturday March 16. Training numbers have been good with a large crew rarely missing a session.

There is no clearance in for Ben Gill as yet, if it is the Ben gill from Lower he is one big unit and will take some holding. I see ex stanhope premiership captain Lee Rowland has signed with Rushworth, Where has he been and why the Tigers not Stanhope?

Over at Katunga then the week after that they play Colbinabbin away either on the 23rd or 24th (I don't know if it's Saturday or Sunday), then Longwood on the 13th (the 3rds play Rushy on the 6th)

I wanted a final 5 (because a final 6 rewards mediocraty especially in those grades that have less than 13 teams whilst providing no benefit to anyone finishing 3rd), but a Final 6 Murray League system is something I can live with

He's pulled the pin Sparra, not playing at all at this stage from what I been told.... He must of blown a valve with all the offers he was getting!!
Avenel has been working hard to try and cover the long list of departures from last season, Signings include Cael McCarthy and Sean O'Loughlin from Seymour, Patrick Frappel from Tatura, the O'Connor twins (Nic and Jo) are back after a year away, Dean Fulco returns from Colbinabbin and Todd Heaysmen from Bonnie Doon. We are still hopeful of gaining another 2-3 signatures before the start of the season.

Rushy will be ok King, it seems like quite a few sides are turning over a significant amount of personnel - key personnel too. Nagambie have lost 9 from last years side.
I am led to believe there are a few more irons in the fire at Rushy & some new (and old) faces may be unveiled before Round 1.

That's great to hear..it is a good way to assist in recruiting players to clubs...alot of players play for the money, others play for good facilities and good club culture so it is a step in the right direction for Avenel
What is happening out at stanhope? I see some more players on the move to Gig, is it just the Patto connection? Have they recruted that well that these boys will not get a game at 2pm so they have headed off to a club where they are a chance to senior footy?
