Would be for sure, I'm sure they have/will but he is pretty well entrenched at Ardy. If he left would probably play in a different league I' say.

Not at senior level. After seeing the Towners struggle to field 2 sides this year, a bloke like Gaz working with the kids in the magoo's would be perfect, and it just might get a few others keen again.

Wilson to coach Yea

Adrian Wilson will be the senior playing coach at Yea next season.
With Yea returning to Kyabram District Football League, Wilson will be familiar with the grounds and opponents, as he coached Avenel in 2004.
Recruited by Yea at the start of last season, he was a prominent player in the premiership team.
Wilson has also played in premierships in Queensland.
Mainly an on-baller with Yea, "Dipper" was best afield at centre half-back for the KDFL against Central Goulburn at Avenel two years ago.

Good news for yea there doona. Obviously a player coach again for yea, who will coordinate the sidelines in 2006?
Also, have you heard any cricket scores?
Did you hear about our grand council heck up. 1 day job installing a new network of sprinkler systems, sure enough 1 day job = dodgy job and the burst pipe and subsiquent flooding of a 20x20m area just off the pitch caused us to be washed out.
If we miss the finals by 3 points the SCC won't be happy.

The three points the Maroons did get could be what gets them a finals spot. No certainty the notoriously brittle Seymour batting line-up would have got those runs.fat back pocket said:

Unsure mate, I regretfully tabled my letter at the recent club meeting. unfortunately I just can't guarantee the level of effort and commitment they require (and deserve) so I'll be just a spectator in 2006.

it has been posted in the gvfl thread that tyson sidebottom has been offered $500 a game from ky......obviously a load of crap, but they may have been talking to him, as well as mooroopna and a couple of the shepp sides.

Sorry to correct you Rowey but it announced Simo as coach and the cattery where 99.9% certain of signing a big name assistant, maybe Damien Yze is still in the loop!!!

Ahhh interesting news. I discounted Yze going to Ardmona because I know someone that works with his sister (doesn't that sound ridiculous
) and apparently he wasn't interested. Although that was a while ago, so anything could happen. He would be the exact player they need with Meka leaving (although he's rumoured to stay on and become president, which I don't see happening).

brennan, gamble and now snelson. that's a few quality players they've lost. i read a while ago that rushworth had signed or were about to sign a gun ruckmen, still no names though.
and perhaps with snelson now at gig they might get a couple more to cross over.

Where is brennan going.... back to tonny hank???
there was a bit going aorund that rushworth were close to signing parker, former crow listed player and united/ maroopna player i think. Did that get confirmed or has it gone through to the keeper.
