personally i think renyne is atough charechter and he will brush that aside quiet easily and best on performance. Al O'reilly is a bit lazy and goes a bit quiet and soft when there is a decent player on him

the lanky boys will not cut it against the good sides i dont think, they are not a quality side.

I think that last year we had a good side but got slaughted by the top teams, whereas this year i think we will be more competitive against top sides. I believe that we will be a top side. but time will tell.

We have a tough run from about round 5 to round 10 which will make or break us as a good side or not, so time will tell.

Totally agree there mate. The wombats were a good side last year but as you said struggled against the main powerhouses of the thirds. A fair few teams have a tough run this season in patches and it will be great testers to see how teams come out of them. But time will tell.

P.S. Not doing so bad in the goalkicking champ!

The U18's have gone downhill in the competition that is provided, in comparison to recent years. e.g last year the likes of stanhope, VT, Ardmona, Nagambie and Avenel were all pretty much an even spread with a number of talented footballers. whatever team is to win it this year i would see it as only a small acheivment? anyone else have any veiws on this?

Lanky are looking up the isle of not playing finals at all, they have no depth no height and very little skill.

from what i hear they are a one man team with shellie in the middle and even he's a one trick pony the bottom line is lanky will not be very competitive
