Im at Avenal this week mate, I was kinda hoping you were playin for vt, then u would have seen that elbow hahaha i know there is alot of gv players that are f**kwits, and no doubt there probably are a few playin in kd this week, but as for every other gv player, we just wants a game of footy...

but do us a favour and take out a few nagas boys for us ay!:thumbsu:

nagambie will go in as underdogs this week and i think you'll find they will come out on top. i have heard from good sources that alot of the stanhope boys dont rate nagaz, they'll get a good shock this weekend. rushworth will have top spot by the end of the weekend. :thumbsu:

Rushworth Vs Tally Rushworth by 100+
Nagambie Vs Stanhope Stanhope by 50
Violet Town Vs Avenel Swans by 10 goals
Undera Vs Lancaster Wombats by about 25

So only Meloury and Lorraine have come across, were they the only two that were interested, or was Carl Ure a bit unsure about whether he was willing to risk his players?

I'd be interested in how many GV boys are in the KDL this week too, because I know a fair few would fancy themselves dominating our 'Lesser' competition - even if it doesn't always happen that way...
 
Lan vs Und - Should be close. Depend on how we are coached will influence the result. Lan by 1 point.

Merr vs Gig - Go the Gum. Gum by 7 points.

Stan vs Nag - Another close game. I will predict an upset. Naggaz by 8 points.

Rush vs Tally - Rush by 6 goals.

Ave vs VT - Ave by 5 goals.

I would hope that none would be in the KDFL this week.
If you are not good enough with what you've got, you won't be there on the last day.
And would be a pretty p!ss weak effort by a coach to play any GV boys.

That's fair enough, but it's already happened and will continue to happen. It's not as though it's an isolated thing, clubs such as Merrigum and Murchison also borrow players in order to be competitive at least. And the more competitive clubs I'm sure see this as an opportunity to bolster their side to improve their ladder position come finals time.

i agree mate its not as if the gv players are gonna make a huge diffence if any but some kd clubs such as the to u said r struggling with numbers so y not help them out.. so i think its good the tatura boys r helping the gum... also the ky boys WONT b playing 4 anyone av a rest fellas

Carl wasnt to keen on lettin me come because of an incident in yea last year, but yeah carl is more focused on his new role as u/18s interleague coach 2oo8, so letting a few boyz help out wasnt much of an issue... but yeah myself corey meloury and marcus ure who is at nagaz tommoro are the only ones from seymour coming over...

Very happy to have the boys come across to Avenel for this weekend. Clubs should allow this to happen more often when G.V has the bye as it will stock up numbers and ad more talent and depth to the teams. How come Marcus isn't coming across? How come he chose to go to Nagambie?

A couple of good games this week

Nag def Stan
VT def Ave

Stanhopes loss puts them back with the bunch a little.

Avenels loss drops them off the finals a little. they will have to cause some upsets to get up the ladder.

I tihnk it's important for Nagambie to not get to ahead of themselves. It's a good win, but still its jst one Home and Away game and many more to go.

Having said this it'll be head down bum up for the lakers coming back from the break.

Round 9 vs Avenel
Round 10 vs Lanky
Round 11 vs Undera
Round 12 vs VT
Round 13 vs Rushy

if they drop one or two games it wont help them at all

i think a couple of the boys carried on a bit after the game, when they won, even a couple boys while shaking hands were sayong, see you in finals and wat not, there is still a few games to go yet!!
