Courier Mail:

Brisbane’s ruck crisis may be over with Clark Keating declaring he is ready to partner Jamie Charman in Saturday night's AFL clash with the Kangaroos at Telstra Dome.Keating, missing since injuring his right shoulder against Adelaide in round two, has told coach Leigh Matthews he wants to be included this weekend.

Dunno if this is true or not, but it will be a bonus having him back.

lets hope its true our balance is mucked up at the moment with only poor old charman running himself into the ground !! will free up brennan for other duties

That’s good news.

Let’s just hope they don’t rush him back into the side to early. Don’t want him to get injured again.

Good news is that Crackers put in a full session on the track and then did some one on one work up against Daniel Bradshaw under the watchful eye of the coach at the conclusion of the night.

He left the oval quite pleased with himself, declaring he was "right to play".

The ball's in the brains trust's court now.

I'd err on the side of caution with Crackers this week. Charman will be better off for the run last week, and the Kangaroos ruck division isn't threatening. Hale will be very good given some more time, but Porter and McKernan are lumbering dinosaurs. The back up should again be done by Brennan as he would have learnt a lot last week!
