Horse has no problem in winning non-GF finals, so I'm not getting the argument that his gameday coaching and player management somehow collapses on GF day. More likely we just have a bunch of peaheart players who crumble in the heat of the big day, Warner excepted.

I like Horse, the person. I love his mum & dad. Met them years ago & they are lovely people. A bit like my people. Both they & my parents are from the bush. Salt of the earth & I am sure that has rubbed off on Horse.

But, when the time has come, it has come. Wonderful to make so many finals. But not so wonderful having so many failures in Grand Finals. The average loss rate in a GF must be about 60 points. That's 10 goals. That is not acceptable in any footy club from Blackburn to the Black Stump.

I know change is hard for many of you. This is probably due to seperation anxiety or fear of the unknown. But change does come eventually

He didn’t have the same group of players in 2014 and 2016 so your logic fails

???

Warner excepted.
He's a key culprit IMO. Only really showed up when the game was over in both 2022 and 2024, which is better than some tbf. He had 1 tackle this year.

His 2022 GF is overrated. He once again didn't have any impact until the game was over. It's like saying Parker had a good GF this year because he kicked 3 goals in the past quarter when he spent most of the game being just as big a liability as our other key forwards were.
