and how many times did she go " kicks to the top of the goal square"

FFS. The top of the goal square is at the TOP of the GOAL SQUARE. It's not 30m out from goal

It's embarrassing that the Channel Ten executives still keep her around. She's incredibly irritating and I choose to switch off the commentary and deal with the radio instead.

I had the misfortune to hear the 1st half of the swans game on ABC radio yesterday (stuck in the car).

Now I couldn't give a rats what sex she is, who she shags, how she looks & I know for a fact there are plenty of other very poor callers out there ( Hello Ox, QTRS & Wallsy) but her voice & the rubbish she comes out with is just appalling.

When she was calling the game the buzz saw drove me nuts, though funnily enough when she just spoke in her normal voice to the others it was ok, but when she called the action all I could think of was those shocking voices on the blokes who call the NRL.

I know why ten keep her, but please abc do not inflict this on us again.

She tries to be precise which potentially could be refreshing but I feel for her in that I just cant accept the female voice.

Just would rather a male voice with the same goals towards commentary.

Blokes like Rex Hunt should be taking notes off her.

I think the issue with her voice is that she tries to be too blokey both in tone and style (although that might just be the way she is), and seems to borrow from Dennis Commetti at every opportunity. I reckon the experiment would be more intersting with someone who sounds more feminine, rather than a woman who commentates like a man. Not that they commentate as such, but Samantha Lane for instance doesn't try to get too blokey with her language, nor did Tiffany Cherry.

Commentated on ABC Radio on Saturday night. Solved the whole Radio/TV synchronisation problem by constantly being 5 seconds behind.

Tiffany Cherry.

What I like about Tiffany is she is her own person, not trying to be someone she isn't. She doesn't pretend to know more about the game than the coaches, or 300 game players. She's a good contributor to a commentary team. I wish we had more females in the footy media like Tiff.

Who is Tiffany Cherry?

The name makes me think she's hot. That's like a pr0n star name.

Tiffany Cherry used to work on FoxTel, worked in the States for awhile but I heard her on the boundary during an SEN commentary last weekend. Knows her footy, but also knows enough to not try and upstage coaches and players with stupid questions and statements. Very intelligent person is Tiff.

Hot? Depends on your tastes I guess, but I would think so. Certainly attractive, but it's her manner that appeals to me most of all. Blends into the football scene rather than push her way around like the Caros of this world.

Will Underwood be doing the Geelong-Collingwood game on Saturday night?

If she does, it will be embarrasing. Whenever she calls, I mute my TV button and tune into the radio station and hope it will be sync with the TV broadcast.

I reckon most comments about Kellie Underwood are way over the top. Five minutes after the broadcast finishes I'm hard pressed to remember who the commentators were, Underwood's games included.

If you went back and listened to Bruce McAvaney's first season, or Dennis Commetti's, I'm tipping you'd find that they are much better now than then. They have improved and evolved. Kellie Underwood should be no different.

Oh God I wanna chop my ears off. And I can't stop the feeling that I need to clear my throat every time the nasal chainsaw talks.

Many Aussie chicks are right up there when it comes to bad accents around the world. Hers leads the charge, Julia Gillard a close second.

it really is a weird thing when SOOOOO many people have such a strong hatred for something you don't give a shit about
