If he broke two vertebrae he would be in a hospital bed.

Probably never play football again and likely wearing a back brace for a long time.

If he is running then his back is probably close to fine, or at least better.

While this rumour is highly likely absolute bullshit people a lot of the time will say a bone is broken when its only fractured. For example when i was young (a lot younger) i worked with a woman who worked fulltime in a physical job with 2 spiral fractures in her back vertebrae. It did take it out of her a lot more than normal mind you and no matter how fast you go at fruit packing its not really the same as afl.

But had she just done them?

I know someone who was in a car accident and received fractures to two vertebrae.

He was in hospital for a while but after that a back brace and recovery took ages. Can't play contact sports or do anything to strenuous because the danger a re-fracture poses to his spine.

I mean people just need to think about this rationally. Would a person who had just fractured two spinal discs, no matter how serious be doing running drills? With that kind of back injury there would be no doubt, Kerr would not play football again at AFL level.

They certainly wouldnt and while i agree this is very highly likely to be surpreme bullshit there is quite often fragments of truth piled up with the shite.

Yeah i thought it was wierd that woosh ruled him out on the monday. Normally if the man still has all 4 limbs attached woosh would give it the old ""We will wait and see if he can get through the workload, right now its 50/50".

We need him more than any other player vs the pies, he gives the midfield some arrogance which trickles down to the rest of the team.
