And it is interesting in where they are looking.. Even after these years. Yet I cannot say.

So I was looking at news sites and came across the news that dna was found in relation to the case, I grew up in karragullen at the back of the rock inne tavern and family have always lived around that area it is a small community of fruit growers so everybody knows everyone. Growing up I always knew about this case, She was definitely hitchhiking to karragullen. It is family knowledge that my great grandad picked up Kerryn tate on the side of brookton hwy near kelmscott on his way home that afternoon. (The family farm is located on the corner near the bp in karragullen) He then dropped her off at karragullen motors/caltex just before home and that was the last time he saw her. When her body was found and he realised who it was the story goes he went to the police to clear himself as was he was the last person to see her alive and he was thoroughly investigated. At the time he was in his 50/60s and drove a white 2 door 1974 Holden Ute.

I will have to confirm the exact time he picked her up and left her at the garage that afternoon.

All confirmed news reports and police reports that I can find all say that no one has come forward to say they picked her up or any confirmed reports and that she was last confirmed being at the house in mt lawley, which is weird if they did indeed interview my great grandad back in 1979 and he told them he brought her to karragullen .

Police record keeping wasnt the best back then. I think you should probably get all your info together and contact crime stoppers, you never know this little bit of information could be important.
