KK14 they won and will finish on top. KK12 kicked the game opening goal and it all dried up from there.

MP Jnr got promoted from Auskick to Under 9s in the South Coast league (NSW) 2 games ago. Proud dad moment. He's pretty obsessed with footy, so it was great to see his effort rewarded. Better for parent spectators too when you can watch games with a little bit of physicality.

U9s is when it starts, but the more impact-heavy moves are generally only allowed later

This is Toes jnr’s second season of U12 and the tackling’s most certainly normal by then.

Speaking of, his side had a 50 point win to wrap up a tough year in Div 1 and with him and another playing their 50th games they were also co-captains for the day.

Toes jnr pleaded with the boys for one last mighty effort “so we can sing the song and finish on a high note at our fortress!”

He managed to take a decent grab and nail the goal near the end and the boys all got around their skipper like it was his first ever. So good to see him and them smiling for a change, especially after seeing him so happy with North’s win the day prior.

9 is definitely 'bear hug tackle' and 10 is try not to bring them to ground.

11s is normal but safe. 13s is line em up and take em out stuff.
