lol, that was embarassing beyond belief.
Even playing to tracks, they suck a golf ball through a garden hose.
They were great! I was at the ground. And I’m not even much of a KISS fan.

If Metallica are still around in their 70s, they would blow KISS offstage.

If Tool are still around in their 70s they would blow both of them offstage.

Tool put me to sleep when I saw em (literally left early).

KISS should have played post match entertainment. The pyro and the atmosphere at night would have matched their style.

Did you see them on their last tour here?

I wasn't a fan of their most recent album, I saw them after they had released Aenima and Lateralus and they were awesome live back then.

Tool would never play an AFL GF though and they wouldn't suit it either, they aren't a band that just plays the hits like a band like KISS do.

I live in the States. Saw em at a festival where over the four days the headliners were:

  • Tool (snorefest)
  • Avenged Sevenfold (epic)
  • Kiss (epic)
  • Foo Fighters (really good even if not really my thing)

My brother was got so pissed at a festival in the 90s he slept through a Foo Fighters gig.

A mate of mine got so pissed he fell asleep and missed even going to a Simply Red concert back in the early 90s back when they were big.

The best gig I saw when I was living in the States was The Church at the Belly Up Tavern in San Diego.

A much better venue to see bands live than at a festival and they blew the roof off the joint, especially when they played Tantalized.

Call me an old boomer but some of the newer rock bands can't hold a candle to some of the older rock bands when it comes to playing live.
