Pav being former neighbours with the family and knowing them personally must have affected him these past two weeks, especially now he has a daughter himself.

Youre right on the money there,I was emotional and teary watching on without knowing the family.
Cant imagine what I would have felt like knowing the family personally and Pavs new daughter would bring another equation into it

I did cry, I can't imagine the pain that family is suffering :(

It was a touching tribute from our club.

I certainly shed more than a few tears, the most emotional sports tribute that I can remember.

Well done to the Carlton players too for their part, thought it was a nice gesture for them to also form a line and clap for the parents when the balloons went up.

The family are going through a shocking run, I know the sister of the husband who lost his kids and father in law.

Her hubby has recently been diagnosed with mesothelioma, :(, used to play in the shit as a boy at Wittenoom 40 years ago, and now this.

Truly wonderful people. Certainly puts thing's into perspective
