Watched on today, the 2 boys compliment each other very well. Very poor side as ultra mentioned. Looked like the backline struggled though so that could be a point in which you could exploit VT's centre square players.

Watched on today, the 2 boys compliment each other very well. Very poor side as ultra mentioned. Looked like the backline struggled though so that could be a point in which you could exploit VT's centre square players.

After watching on the ruckman at VT look to have an edge on the rest in Cowman and Woodcock. From what I seen Abley looked a fair bit over weight but did well with ball in hand

Anyone know if Mathoura turned up at there own ground today to play Girgarre in a practice match ?

Mathoura had about 40 players turn up, compared to Girgaree's 30. Seniors into it first, with twos dribbling into game over the six quarters.

She was a hot, tough day against a good opposition. Played 16 a side due to us only having 14 senior players available so a few thirds helped out. 3x25 minute thirds. Some good signs from new blokes. Just didn't have the cattle on the park. I'd say in the end was about 70 to 130

Spent the first quarter at chb as none of the backs played but ended up with 4, Gabelich and McCarthy a couple and Duncs 3.
Nah week off before round 1. Looking forward to April 1.
