Pretty good effort by the boys against a pretty full Colac team in regards to availability. Missed a couple easy chances in the start of the last that would have put them within two kicks. But sadly it then went up the other end and got a run on. The better side won on the day. Herbert and Sidebottom woulda had close to 90 between them. The league runs the interleague extremely well, it definitely isn’t dead for our comp. Just need more buy in from clubs and their players.

I’m pretty sure you were an assistant to patto ultra So well done to every one that played a part. At the end of the day it was always going to be tough to get a win with so many unavailable!!!
They did think they had him for a triple figure per game offer before the season, but Grints trumped them at Huntly. Huntly are now standing some paid players out of games to manage their salary cap so they don’t go over.
With that in mind wouldn’t be surprised at all if Evans isn’t happy about missing a game here and there costing him $1500 a pop

He has already packed his bag and left Huntly over this issue

Has played the last two with Yarroweyah in PDFNL . The rumour is that Stanhope are chasing him , is going overseas in a couple of weeks and will return in time for finals. Seems a bit strange because if true he'd struggle to get enough games in before going o/s and isn't apparently due back untill 1st week of KDFL finals ?

Has signed with stanny. Will play a couple then going overseas but will be back in heaps of time to qualify for finals Good bit of recruiting by Chaukie he’s a shrewd coach and knows what he needs to get that elusive flag !!
