Gig has signed a few early.

Welcome aboard Ryan Butler. Butsy is a returning local that played his juniors at Gig. Since then he has played TAC cup with the Murray Bushrangers, won a flag with Langhorne Creek in Adelaide, and joins us from Nathalia where he has just won back to back premierships. Great to have you and Abbey back to the club mate ⚪

Welcome to the club Cal Harding-Davies. Cal already has a good network of friends here at Gig. He can play any position and has played the last 2 years at Nathalia. He has previously won a flag with Wakool where he was BOG in the grand final. Welcome Cal, Kirby, Zanda and Luca

Welcome back Adam Scoble, Scobes has recently just returned to Girgarre with his family. He has spent the last few years up north where he coached Dalby for a season and was assistant coach at Goondiwindi for 2 seasons. He is a key position player that can play fwd or back and will bring great leadership to the Club. Welcome Scobes, Jess, Angus, Isaiah and Regan

Haven’t heard of many of the ardy recruites, are many or any of them A graders?
Good to see they’re having a crack

Points system is delicate so think they might be looking more locals at the moment for a long term view ,anyone else think that if your only playing reserves and haven’t played seniors your points should be reduced no matter what league you are going too

Not one of these ones. There’s another couple. One of them can seriously play.
That would be Phil, got a few tricks indeed. Did a development squad at the Cannons a couple of years back and had a few excited but then moved away, must say I was interested when a mate rang to enquire and say he'd lobbed at Kings Park.
Actually was surprised how much footy he "didn't" play this year, has he been tucked away somewhat?

Good luck with the point system from experience it will be your biggest issue rebuilding.

When we got done for the points we recruited 6 players from other reserves sides for a total of about 15/18 points and they had played 3 seniors games between them all.

Yeah it’s a joke brownsnake ,they aren’t playing seniors and haven’t for a while they should only be a 1 or 2 point player maximum ,same as an under 18 kid changing leagues they might only be reserves players in the gvfl but could be seniors and make a name for themselves in the kdfl
