Dual Reserves Senior Club and League BnF I like the sound of thatJust award it to yourself...have a medal made up then in 20 years bring it out and show people...no one will know!
I’m just gutted for the clubs Hank what a year it promised to be with so many sides recruiting well and up to 6 or 7 teams giving themselves a realistic chance at the holy grail Also being centenary year for Stanny , Ardy and GIG . Will be interesting to see what players stick around and what players leave the league , any way time will tell
Crawf is still on board for next year and beyond for what I have been told as well as the players that have committed only time will tell.Probably early days Keego#22 , but do you know what Crawf is up to next year? I assume he’d committed to at least beyond year but was wondering whether much of the Covid situation had changed things.
Dropped the ball is a big call.Dropped the ball on here with the season cancellation. Been a few clearances out and in since as well. Does this give an opportunity for a round robin night series for any team interested?
Dropped the ball is a big call.
It's still not clear whether other leagues that have yet to make a call/endeavouring to play will be able to get a season up and about. I think it's too early to say who's made the right or wrong call and, given that, I don't think any league should be criticized for the position they take.
My apologies Ultra!Misunderstood mate, I meant we dropped the ball on our KDFL 2020 forum! I believe the KD made the right decision and this was made clear with only 1 club voting for the season to go ahead.
I would have thought that the KDL would have tried to have one for the juniors at least (because they're the most important group we have), similar to the Barooga night series or the junior carnival in Moama & Rochester.Dropped the ball on here with the season cancellation. You might be onto something, and maybe the old Gigarre night series gets off the ground again? Maybe it's a chance for Clubs to run social ALF 9s competitions too? I think COVID-19 will change how a lot of things are done, which opens up for alternate forms of sports to burgeon.
I heard someone say the other day that sports clubs are much more than sports. It's a chance for clubs to assess what's at their core.

Have it over a weekend at Mooroopna, the Under 12's can play on the back ovals with portable posts & the Under 18's can use John Gray & the Main Oval, and the Netballers can use the two back courts and the old courts near the scoreboard.
I know that the insurance would be the killer in these plans, but surely mental health is more important than the beer bug?, especially when they allowed protests last week.
Glad ya left yaself in mate Definitely agree on the coach change. Linc is a beauty and record to show it.Quick one from me;
Geoff Connally Daniel Freeman Brad Lowe
Daniel Godsmark Mick Pell Tom Sullivan
Troy Snelson Brenton Gray Chris Sanders
Mick Sheils Michael Roberts Anthony Haysom
James Milne Gavin Exell Sam LaPorta
Paul Arandt Kaine Herbert Tyson Sidebottom
Paul Burnett Daryl Harrison Corey Carver Patt Horsbrough
Coach Linc Sullivan
Geoff Connally in for Turpin, Tom Sullivan in (Did he play atleast 3 years?)
Chris Sanders in for Tav
Milne in for Meka, too many talls, Meka FF in the 90s but has to make way for the genuine small forward.
Roberts to CHF, Herbert onball which pushes Kasey out.
Just the 4 on the bench so Paddy gets the arse along with Bowser, Maso and Bodycoat, with Patty Horsbrough in
I think it was Jake Ewart from Murch who could maybe push Blood out of the CHB post??
Linc in Patto out for the Coaching role.
I’m sure there are others I’ve missed
Snuck in on the bench ahead of yourselfGlad ya left yaself in mate Definitely agree on the coach change. Linc is a beauty and record to show it.
Happy for ya mate. I don’t know much of the 2000-10 period but I’ll have a go. Not basing on whether they played 300 games or not either and have left out guys that played one year. And I’ve re extended the bench All these guys won league medals, B&F’s, League goal kickings, interleague medals. Hard to win all four of themSnuck in on the bench ahead of yourself
Yeah Thommo is one that would come into contention, havent seen enough of Morgan and Stirling but what I did see in a game or two they’d be contenders , Chris Sanders you probably didn’t see much of but I’d rate him the best Wingman in the KD from 2000-2010, and then went to Rochy and played some great GV footy after that.Happy for ya mate. Snuck you in Hank on account of needing a HB!
I did see a small bit of Chris, played against him, but not the early days. Stirling played 50 games of senior WAFL footy before arriving, was a cut above during his 80 odd games at Avenel. Jake Ewart definitely contender for CHB as you said. Couldn’t squeeze myself in as much as I’d like to. Chris Eddy also stiff.Yeah Thommo is one that would come into contention, havent seen enough of Morgan and Stirling but what I did see in a game or two they’d be contenders , Chris Sanders you probably didn’t see much of but I’d rate him the best Wingman in the KD from 2000-2010, and then went to Rochy and played some great GV footy after that.

Yeah think he won a league medal when Burners polled a few more votes but was ineligible. Very handy mid sized fwd.Played on Chris Eddy a couple of times when he ventured to Cohuna for a kick...couple of tough days at the office for myself
Could throw Steven Barber in the ruck mix. 4 time premiership ruckman. As well as the guys from VT’s 2011-13 period. Although they didn’t hang around to long when the mulla dried up. Russel Lee a beauty as well. Scott Tyers was probably one of if not the best defender in the comp during his time here too.Yeah think he won a league medal when Burners polled a few more votes but was ineligible. Good call bomber probably the best player I’ve seen in the KDl what a player he was ??Perry meka and Gavin excel made it but there is no Rohan Aldous what a crock of shit played in the same era
Exell only played in the 2000s, agree Meka out and Rohan was the best player in any position in the 90s and was still a great player into the early 2000s.Perry meka and Gavin excel made it but there is no Rohan Aldous what a crock of shit played in the same era
