If murch have held on to who they had recruited this year and now adding Jordan McGregor from shepp and josh wild from the swans puts them in a strong position

McGregor was one of Shepp’s better players in their 2019 flag the guys an absolute running machine just super quick, will love the big murch ground , great pick up

There’s been some movement amongst players leading hopefully into a 2021 season, which is great for bf chit chat
PS. heard tallys Sam muggelton is heading to Dookie
Stanhope picked up a couple off handy players, still a bit off the pace I rekn.. need a A grade midfielder or 2..

I know that this is more off field, but what's happening over at Rushworth & to a lesser extent, Dookie United?.

Rushy couldn't get a committee at their last AGM just recently & Dookie were a bit light on for off field members before the season got cancelled.

Let's hope that Rushy can get back on track, because their 140th anniversary is coming up in 2022 & Dookie have been a good member in the KDFL after they left the Picola League.

When Rushy joined the league, they were well supported & had a great committee. And for my sake (being from Murch/Toolamba) and anyone from Stanhope, not having Rushworth would just be awful.

Murch revealing a few recruits early, could be the main mover of the season, will be up there in contention, while i think tally will be the biggest slider, won’t make top 4

Murch- Tol were very highly fancied before 2020 was called off , don’t think anything has changed they will be right up there. As far as Tally goes there has been some big departures so you would think they would struggle to be in that top bracket PS . Has any one got any info on Ardy , Rushy and Longwood on how they traveling with numbers ect

Things are not looking good at Rushy where they couldn’t get anyone to take on a position at their agm held recently.Another emergency meeting will be held tonight let’s hope things go well and they get the volunteers needed to run the club there’s a lot of great history at ionbark and would be a tradgedy if it all came to an end

It’s been a slog for many clubs to form committees in recent times. It will be the lack of administrators, not players, that will see clubs fold.

Was always gunna be a worry coming off a year without footy. People have had the opportunity to step away and do other things and may not come back

Great news at Rushy all positions filled and are looking forward to 2021!

Longwood looking for a coach , family reasons was the word , l feel sorry for Rick ( and his family) he puts a lot of time into the club and for this to happen must be heart breaking

Bring Browny back give him the Full Cap to work with and he will round a few up. If not up the ante and put a good offer on the table for a good playing Coach. They need to get some quality in to break the mould.

I I’ve heard Violet Town local Tim Ross will likely be the new coach of longwood

Longwood signed 2 handy young kids
Tomas Rennie from Tat who is a Murch boy almost kicked 100 in 3rds a few years back
Greg Hutton from Murch handy ruckman.
Not sure how they’ve been lured all the way to the redlegs stadium but promising for them.

In other news anyone heard of Joel McCarten? Cleared to Merrigum from the VAFA

Longwood is actually closer to home for Hutton who lives in miepol I believe. Maybe wrong.

Joel McCarten really promising junior. Player with mooroopna then the swans.
But I was under impression hasn’t played a lot of footy in last few years. And wasn’t living around here. A move to merrigum not totally surprising given he’s originally from here but surprising that I didn’t think he was here anymore. Good singing for them if he plays.

Bit slow on Joel Grass Cat, seeing as he is a Toolamba boy originally.

Saw Jack earlier this week and heard that the deal was done. They would be a great fit.

Made a bit of progress on some other Toolamba lads.
