Big signs out the front of the Mooroopna Rec Res, advertising A GREAT FAMILY DAY OUT at the ARDMONA VS AVENEL game. Roadwork type signs. A bit different, but if it gets bums on seats!

How have the Mooroopna games been going? We played them at the orchard so we missed out. Any thoughts?

not much of a muchness i reckon... mooroopnas ground is like cement in the centre and the crowd was pretty down on the day we played. a better atmosphere would be at ardys true ground i'd think...

I would just like to make comment on Ardmona's playing tactics. We played them last week and they are still the dirtiest club going round the KDL. :thumbsdown::thumbsdown: Hitting players behind play, running at players with their elbows up and just plain head hunting. I thought all the bad press they received last year would have sounded alarm bells ringing in the heads of the executive over there, but obviously not. When are the umpires going to have the balls to pull up this crap and not let them get away with this shit. The KDFL executive have let this club get away with this behaviour for far too long. Why is it only at an Ardmona game you have 3 police cars come to "observe" the crowd. What are your thoughts?

Tally v Murch - the close one :)
Gig v Rushy - 50 points
Merr v Stanny - 125 points
Ard v Avenel - 35 points
VT v Undera - 85 points
Nag v Lan - 15 points

Tally vs Murch - Tally are the most over rated side in the comp (bar Gig), and are very in consistant. I agree with CD. Murch by 5 goals.
Gig vs Rushy - Gig too good for young Tigs. Gig in top 5 by weeks end. Gig by 15 goals.
Merr vs Stanny - Stanhope by plenty. No one is close to them. Stan by 30 goals.
Ardy vs Ave - Ardy should be too good. If Avenel lose Finals over! Ardy by 6 goals.
VT vs Undera - VT are not much. Undera to win by 25 goals.
Nag vs Lan - Danger game for Lanky a loss means no top three. Nagambie lose finals are done. Lan by 3 goals.

The battle for top 3 and top 5 is on this week. Losers in the big games Nag v Lan, Tally v Murch, Ardy v Ave will find it hard to get back.
 
nag vs lancy- match of the round 4 sure, both teams hav alot 2 play 4 espcially lancy with a top three spot up 4 grabs. and lakers are trying 2 keep their finals hopes alive, im tipping an upset with nagambie winning by 20 points.:thumbsu:

no stanhope players throwing punches or getting reported by two field umpires or anything was there "KDFLfan" maybe you should hit the netball courts for your sort of action.;)

He obviously only got reported by the one umpire as he took a set penalty of one week... Gibbo threw just as many as Smudgie just none of his landed:eek:

How far were you from the incident? I had a fairly good veiw and from what i saw there was a bit of pushing and shoving and then Maso threw 2 the second landing, whilst the umpire was standing near by.
Silly on Maso's behalf? or smart knowing you can't get hurt with the umpire's whatching? I can also tell you Ardy or Gibson does'nt generally get to many favours from the umpire's, thus meaning if he had of thrown any he would of duly been dealt with by the umpire's.
And im geussing Gibson will take it in his stride, hearing during the week him saying "there was'nt much in it"

Was actually sitting rite across from the incident in that stand thing:eek:, and from waht I saw they both threw a couple.. And thought the Umpy was lookin the other way when Maso connected, could be wrong tho... But yes as Gibbo said there wasnt all that much in it, hence why he continued playing.:thumbsu:

But..... there was alot in other incidents? the other 2 reports had nothing on Mason's hit that i can tell you.

haha, so your saying the two Ardmona blokes should have a lengthy stay on the sidelines? I hope your right and then we'll have you on here next week declaring how the KDL have it in for Ardmona!!
