I don't even understand what he said.
JYD > Wallace. + =
how is a team supposed to perform with all this off field crap.
Do you want to change your opinion?
Seems like 'others' have changed their opinions. Perhaps you would like to direct your comments to them.
Just to think we lead by 25pts at 3/4 time in R1,
Trail by 6pts with 5minutes to go vs Port in R2,
Pull back to be within 10 pts with 5min remaining in R3...
It's only team desire + player attitude that is holding us back from winning.
JYD has quite possibly admitted he has no impact/influence anymore as I alluded to in a previous week comment.
The board is distracted and a 0-8 start is on the cards unless the players scrap together to win one or two for the members. I've already pulled the plug on JYD.. just hope he does a Terry wallet and comes out and says he can't do anything more with the team....and resigns.
Tick, Tock.
Plus basic skill errors ; decision-making ; lack of talk/awareness (when a player is about to be tackled) ; and possibly the gameplan.....oh, and team selections !It's only team desire + player attitude that is holding us back from winning.
Yes, it was certainly `tick, tock' in the last 5 minutes of the 2nd quarter against Haw - absolute masterstroke to milk the clock. I was so disappointed when Hawthorn didn't score a goal in that last few minutes on that 2nd Q just to teach the clown a lesson.
Um, what is wrong with someone changing their opinion? If it's a new situation or new facts come to light, then surely it's perfectly reasonable for someone to change their views on an issue?
Imagine if people wearn't allowed to change their opinions. We'd still think the world was the centre of the universe, that the world was flat, and Evan Hewitt was going to be our next great CHF.[/QUOTE]
Have I missed something recently about Hewitt?
I know you're joking about the other stuff.

Around the time BigFooty started, Evan Hewitt was named as the bloke who would eventually take over at CHF. Everyone from BigFooty Roos fans to people like Pagan and Carey said that Hewitt would become the #1 CHF in the AFL.

Where is the accountability. In almost every organisation when you are the head and you make a monumental ****up as Laids has done with "where the game was heading" you are offloaded, moved on etc.

l know the club is focussed on other issues at the moment, but surely they should be looking at replacing Laids who has made a huge contribution to the predicament we now find ourselves in. If we are indeed going to make $1mil profit then replace Deano immediately, put a caretaker in and go in search for the right coach. It could well be the best $300k they blow.
Wrath
We have never finished in the bottom 4 apart from 2006 so we have never had priority picks or been able to select top quality kids.
And the injuries we do have seem to be to the kids anyway. Urch, Grima and Smith have all had injury worries whether they be long term or recurring.

Thommo played because he was struggling for form and needed confidence.
Michele, it just looks like another way to blame Laidley if you ask me.
Do we not train anymore for fear of injury?
