Teams Las Vegas Raiders - The Black Hole

With the football world seemingly falling in love with Sanders' star power and franchise player potential, it is unsurprising to hear Coach Prime suggest he would get involved if the "wrong organization" tried to draft his son. Deion Sanders, the Pro Football Hall of Famer and former MLB player, understands the challenges of being a franchise player as a two-sport star with experience playing in Super Bowls and a World Series. Moreover, he is a shrewd businessman and marketer who understands how to build and leverage a brand.

Coach Prime's relationships with several prominent Raiders could make Las Vegas the preferred destination for Sanders. From his relationship with minority owner Tom Brady to the long-lasting connections to Norv Turner (and Scott Turner), Coach Prime views the Raiders as the best place for his son to flourish as a franchise player. While the team would need to upgrade the pieces around Sanders to help him thrive as a franchise player, the sage wisdom and advice shared by a seven-time Super Bowl winner and respected offensive mind could accelerate his development as a quarterback and help him restore the glory of the Silver and Black. foxsports.com

Rushing yards bit lacking

I wouldn't be concerned in the slightest about his rushing yards. Just look at a guy like CJ Stroud, very similar in terms of being a statue in the pocket in college. The key is that he's mobile enough to extend plays.

Has bust written all over him. We will probably draft him.

Why do you think he'll be a bust? He's imo the most "Pro ready" QB in this draft class.

Most pro ready ? his basically been coddled and handed everything in college by his dad who’s coached all 4 years. Everything is tailored to him by his dad in college. Whole offence is made to make him and hunter look good.

Stroud is way more mobile and has a way better feel for pocket and sensing pressure against a much better level of college competition. Sanders led nation in taken sacks last season. His improved this year but still tends to step up into pressure too often.

Then his attitude none of his bad plays are his fault, already thrown his whole oline and rb under the bus this season thru media this season. Did he get punished for that ? no cos his dad the coach.
Also more worrying is when most of his teammates weren't going to support shedeur rapping before a lil Wayne concert his Dad made it mandatory to go and support him. You must be a shitty team mate that you need your dad to make your team mates come support you. This is also reason a heap of guys transferred from Colorado at end of last season. How is this going to translate to the nfl i doubt it will go well. Also wouldn’t shake opponents hand when he won.
Left the game and went to locker room with 5 minutes to go in game even thou in pre game presser he said his team would fight to the end and he’d rather die than give up. Major Character Concerns especially for a guy you want leading your franchise.

Sheddur also doesn't have strongest arm, thou he is highly accurate and can zip it in their. Also good going thru his reads but tends to want to go for hero move instead of the check down. Also has trouble hitting guys in stride coming out of breaks thou. Also footwork can be hit and miss.

If he was able to come out last year I think I'd have him coming off the board between JJ and Nix.

Most NFL ready? Most likely to be a total **** that his teammates hate and his dad is already interfering with the draft process. Hard as hard no from me.

Plus, most importantly, his name is Shadeur....not Tom, John, Joe, Terry etc
Don't see any of those names, closest is a Drew

Through seven games, Allar has thrown for 1,640 yards, 12 touchdowns and four interceptions while completing 71.3% of his passes. Allar also has 129 yards and three TDs on the ground.

Drew kinda works. Previous good Drew.

With Cleveland winning today there are just 4 teams now on two wins - Jacksonville, New York Giants, Tennessee and Las Vegas.

Jacksonville and Tennessee face off against each other twice, and the Raiders play Jacksonville later in the season as well.

The margin for error is slim to none but given the Raiders schedule things are looking good to get a very high pick.

Another ugly loss. First half was solid, but they don't have a second gear they can lift to when the going gets tough. As soon as adversity hits them, they crumple. I'm unsure whether that's a product of talent, coaching/culture or both, but it's one of the big reasons why they're 2-9.

The final minute of the game was so frustrating as well from a game management perspective. It shows AP still has no idea how to manage the finer details of a game. You would think after more than 12 months in his current position that he would have shown some type of competency in that aspect of the game, or at least show signs of improvement. We've seen none of that.

I can't foresee a scenario in which he remains the head coach for next season.

WINNER: Jordan Meredith

Meredith continues to stack up strong performances this season as he was the Raiders’ highest-graded offensive player (81.0, minimum 10 snaps) per PFF. The guard only allowed one pressure and earned a strong 80.2 mark as a run-blocker. He has yet to surrender a QB hit or sack this season and has posted run-blocking grades above 75 in four out of six outings.

LOSER: Robert Spillane

Behind Richardson, Spillane yielded the most yards (57) in coverage for the Silver and Black on Sunday, according to PFF. Granted, that’s never been his strength, but the run-stuffing linebacker recorded his lowest run-defense grade of the campaign at 40.4 and only registered one defensive stop/high-quality tackle.

A few weeks ago Spill was the NFL leading tackler. I reckon he's worn out from carrying the D. Needs some help.
You can see AP is still coaching him.

AP needs to learn to delegate. He's the HC, not the everyone ,all the time coach

Sincere McCormick runs behind his blockers, waiting for pullers to set him up and gain ground. He has a compact frame that he uses in between the tackles to punish defenders. He seldom is tackled for a loss, almost exclusively falling forward thanks to his size and leverage. McCormick shows brief but decent suddenness when he sees it, busting the hole for decent chunks of yardage. His fundamentals are notable, keeping the ball high and tight through traffic. Fairly reliable hands when used as a receiver in space.

McCormick is a reliable running back who does everything fundamentally sound, including ball security, running with patience and gaining the tough yards. His lack of explosion and pass blocking ability will make it hard to be a premier back in the NFL but his football ability should suit him well in terms of his search for a roster spot.

Wrapped up his Career for the Roadrunners with a Conference USA offensive player of the year and First Team All-Conference selection after winning a conference championship in 2021. He majored in Kinesiology. Time to shine.

WINNER: Aidan O’Connell

After missing the previous four games with a broken thumb, O’Connell returned to the starting lineup and made a resounding statement. He threw for a career-high 340 yards which was also the first time he’s cracked the 300-yard mark in a single game.

According to Pro Football Focus, the second-year pro tossed four “big-time throws” which is tied for the third-most heading into Monday Night Football, and his 10.5 percent BTT rate ranks third for the week. This was exactly the type of performance O’Connell needed as the conversations about him potentially being the team’s long-term quarterback have picked back up.

WINNER: Sincere McCormick

For the second game in a row, McCormick has looked sharp with 12 carries for 64 yards (5.3 ypc) against the Chiefs. The UTSA product also averaged about 3.6 yards after contact and forced three missed tackles, via PFF. Additionally, his vision and agility stood out to create chunk gains on the ground.

McCormick has made a name for himself over the last two weeks and is trending toward having a much bigger role on the team in 2025.

Josh Jacobs

  • Stats: 19 carries, 43 yards, 1 TD, 4 catches, 74 yards
  • Game result: 30-17 Packers win
Green Bay has won three games in a row and seven of its last eight to firmly be in the NFC Wild Card race and have a chance at winning the NFC North, heading into a huge Thursday Night Football matchup with the Detroit Lions this week.

Jacobs didn’t have a productive night on the ground, but he managed to rack up 100 yards from scrimmage for the fifth week in a row. He’s already had more total yards (1,247) in 2024 than in 2023 (1,101) and is on pace to finish with 1,766 total yards, the second-most of his career behind the 2022 rushing championship campaign.
