Renouf is likely not playing after suffering a groin injury last week.

Rioli who is named on the bench is also is some doubt, possible Osteitis Pubis. Moss named as an emergency.

Renouf trained fully this morning.

Rioli is a little bit more 'wait and see', but the form of Hooper and Peterson may have a slight influence on whether he plays or not.
Source OP?

Thanks to the Hawks supporters for educated answers :D

Considering Renouf received treatment to his groin all last week during the game vs Melbourne puts him in doubt for this week or at least his performance will be restricted if he plays.

Are you new to following AFL ?
Lots of players receive treatment during a game for injuries and still play the following week.

Good discussion...

Actually late changes are a negative on the game each year, Collingwood led the AFL last year with 14 late changes during the Home and Away season.

If the AFL was to adopt an NFL style approach to strict injury reporting from clubs then all opinions/rumors would not exist.

Punters, tipsters and general AFL fans are left in the dark as to whether certain players will play each week almost all the way up to the first bounce (90 minutes).

This thread was initiated as an unlikely (Renouf) and a possible (Rioli) late withdrawal.

As for Rioli's possible OP, it's reported here: http://www.injuryupdate.com.au/afl.php so happy to go with that.

The Herald Sun report actually confirms this with his little participation in training. Rioli is a champion and happy to see him run on the field on Monday, but he is injured..... so maybe he will not play.

If it is all wrong, well then it surely it is not the first opinion reported incorrectly here.

Good luck to both teams on Monday.

Buddy for the most goals in the match might be a worthwhile investment.
