The Son goal straight from a corner. That was a pretty clear foul on the goalkeeper. No VAR I assume thought which is why it wasnt overturned?

The keeper was nowhere near it - he did not deserve a foul. And the Spurs attempt was reasonable.
It was not a clear and obvious error. I'm happy for that to be play on. VAR worked properly on this occasion.

I thought if there was VAR they'd give a foul but Vicarios copped those last year so not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth

Tremendous player and so is Gordon.
Despite having good assist numbers lately (including another last night), I wonder if Newcastle could upgrade from Murphy on the right. He's useful in a decent squad but imagine rounding out that front 3 with a world class player on the right.
