I've only been in the Sweet FA for a couple of seasons now, so not near enough to be fatigued or sick of the league. Yet Season 24 has been somewhat uninspiring and bland so far. At first, I thought it was just taking a while to get into the groove. However, as it is now over half way through, and there's just no fun apart a couple of moments here and there, but for the most part, I just have little desire to post in match threads anymore.. Nothing against opposition posters, the banter is there but the fun just is not. So here is a few questions, Sweet F.A:

1. Has the league really become vanilla, or have I turned into a veteran like grump way too quickly?
2. Has the fun been sucked out of the league?
3. Have posters of the league finally gone out and got laid?
4. Is the league simply in a rut? Is it a normal cycle the league goes through?
5. What do we do to break this rut?

Unless, of course you would rather not address this major elephant....

Also I put a babyface in charge, the league needs its villains. Hate, it's time to find a way to rule me as bringing the league into disrepute. I've noticed the Hawks keep winning, your simmers are cheats.

I would have thought it's pretty simple.

If one believes and complains the league is lacking in certain areas - that's the problem if anything.

Complaining without any action. What are you (not directly you ND) contributing to others entertainment? Do something constructive besides pissing and moaning.

I gave a good answer to that in my interview with KohPhi I thought. My theory is there is a time frame of when the league is interesting to when it drops off in someones career. We're also confined to a rather limited space (forum, text box with reply button) in which we can operate, a lot of the creativity has been used up over the golden period of Season 16-20/21 - it becomes tough and takes true great posters to do something unique.

Personally I think the league is fine, even if there is a bit of a lul, it's bound to happen and we'll get through it. I have a few events planned for the off-season which hopefully get people going and bring more user to the league.

I've heard some say the rise of social media and the blurring of the Sweet FA world and the real world is to blame.
I've heard some say the Podcast and it's incestuous band of merry men are to blame.
I've heard some say 2017 has passed a competition that does not have the bells and whistles of modern entertainment is the problem.

Personally I blame the shit quality of the past 10 or so seasons of the Simpsons. There's no new Simpsons gold to mine. The well is dry.
Homer emerging and re-emerging in to the bushes? Grandpa Simpsons taking off his hat, circling around, and putting it back on? Ralph Wiggum breaking his heart? Poochie going back to his old planet? Gold, all gold, but after many, many, many postings it's sadly becoming stale with no new Simpsons magic.
It's a sad time indeed.

You need to expand into more media mate. Maybe the reason you don't find match threads fun is because you're too far ahead of everyone else and there are no worthy opponents.
