Great work btw Elmer_Hauser with donuts and fitzroybowiedog kicking 0.3 for the game.

Just the kind of workrate and finishing skills that will surely help us leapfrog to a GF appearance this season!

Must be said though, we put in 4 quarters today, which is uncharted territory since the mid S20s. When one player started to get nullified, another stepped up. And the rotations were dizzying yet everyone stepped up to each challenge as it was thrown at them.

Very handy start to S39 with a 2-goal win over the Dragons. And a very handy welcome to the Roys for Fleabane who kicked 4 big ones from 4 kicks, with the ever reliable TheGoatBaron grabbing 3 of his own, and JackNah_8 supporting nicely with a couple. DERRINALPHIL just did DERRINALPHIL things and killed it in the ruck and around the ground (14 hitouts, 14 possessions). SpecialBruce with 23 possies and Phar Ace with 21 owned the midfield, while royboy2 had 17 touches, 7 tackles and a goal. Special mentions to _Mike_ with 17 disposals and fitzroybowiedog with 12 plus 3 tackles. HinkleysHeroes and Aristotle Pickett both kept up their goal per game ratio.

Barrels Award S39R01​

Out at Dragon Island we were treated to some great chat for a week. Here are the best of those, as rated by all the Roys behind closed doors (and Phar Ace in front of closed doors but which is really the outside when you're talking about merely doors).

There was one honourable mention which went to Ljp86 , mentioned but not figuring in the votes.
With 1 vote apiece were Bradesmaen and Pickitt .
Falling short of the top 3 but comfortable in 4th was the returning Mooresome !

3rd place goes to Hatchy1992 on one of his many comeback trails! Well done Hatchy.

2nd spot was won by Pie 4 Life who, we must remember, has a tunnel under his house.

Very handy start to S39 with a 2-goal win over the Dragons. And a very handy welcome to the Roys for Fleabane who kicked 4 big ones from 4 kicks, with the ever reliable TheGoatBaron grabbing 3 of his own, and JackNah_8 supporting nicely with a couple. DERRINALPHIL just did DERRINALPHIL things and killed it in the ruck and around the ground (14 hitouts, 14 possessions). SpecialBruce with 23 possies and Phar Ace with 21 owned the midfield, while royboy2 had 17 touches, 7 tackles and a goal. Special mentions to _Mike_ with 17 disposals and fitzroybowiedog with 12 plus 3 tackles. HinkleysHeroes and Aristotle Pickett both kept up their goal per game ratio.
