Players took bribes to play poorly & tried to defend themselves by saying that they just took the cash but had no intention doing it. No even honest crooks. Furthermore Carlolton continued to keep them in their team. :eek:

Let us not forget the court cases over the salary cap cheating, where Carlton would not play their players all they promised & the players did not pay their tax on said ill gotten gains.
 
They tried to buy up shares in the North Melbourne FC in the 80's in an attempt to take over ownership of the club. I Sh!t you not. It was only Bob Ansett and a few majority share holders that stopped them.

BTW on a side note these are the same people (share holders) that the Norf people were bagging and scratching at 12 months ago to give back their shares to make the club member owned. How quickly they forget that the club wouldn't of survived without these people buying the shares in the first place.
 
Top thread and yes, carltank are pure scum.

They tried to get rid of Sydney in the early 90s when we were struggling, by offering to play all their away games at the SCG and their home games at princess park. The tanking cheats would have worn a 1cm by 1cm swans emblem on their shorts as a compensation for killing off the swans. They are scum.

Collingwood put a stop to this out of their hatred of carlton.
